What payment methods do you accept?

What locations do you service?
Our standard service area is South Canterbury- from the Rangitata River to the Waitaki River.
Travel from the first 10km from the Little Leapers HQ in Geraldine is free. Additional travel fee is $1 .50 per km travelled (return trip).
We're totally open to working with events in Mid Canterbury, the Mackenzie District and North Otago too. Please email us as we would love to be at your next event!
How much is the bond?
There is a $100 flat rate refundable security bond which is to be paid at time of booking - payable by debit or credit card.
When you add your bundle to the checkout, please also add the $100 refundable bond too.
How do I get my bond back?
By hiring our equipment, you agree to return it to us in the same condition we left it to you in. If all checks out, we will refund your bond into your designated bank account within 1-2 working days post your event.
Tip: To ensure the soft play equipment doesn't get damaged, please follow our "Play Rules". Adult supervision is required for safety reasons, but also helps to prevent rough/damaging play.
What are the travel costs?
All bookings include 10kms of travel distance to and from our HQ in Geraldine. Additional travel will incur a small fee. Travel fees can be added to an additional invoice or we can deduct the fee from your bond if all Terms and Conditions are followed.
Travel fees are as follows:
Temuka/Pleasant Point- $30
Timaru- $50
Fairlie/Ashburton - $60
Waimate- $100
Tekapo- $120
If you are outside of these main townships please email us so we can give you a delivery cost estimate.
How long can I hire the soft play for?
We have two options for hiring. The sets are hired out for either 4 hours or 8 hours of 'play time'. This excludes the time it takes up to set up and pack down time. Depending on availability we may be able extend the hire time e.g. for overnight (for an additional cost), please email us to discuss.
What are your hygiene and cleaning processes?
We know too well the importance of hygiene and cleaning so this is something that we take very seriously here at Little Leapers. All items (yes- including all the ball pit balls!!!) are washed and dried after every hire to ensure we are killing off any bacteria. We then sanitise the equipment so it is safe to use time and time again.
What ages can play on the soft play?
Our soft play sets are designed for our small children, 5 years and under.
Can I have the soft play set up outside?
Yes, we can set our soft play up outside, however it needs to be on a flat and dry surfaces.
If it rains on the day and you cancel the event, we are unable to offer a refund. For this reason, we highly recommend having a wet weather back up option so your event can go ahead rain or shine. We are happy to accommodate date reshuffle (if applicable).
Can I still hire from you if I live outside South Canterbury?
Yes we are totally open to travelling outside our standard service areas. Please email us to discuss your event plans. We would love to hear from you!
What kind of events can hire the soft play?
While we mainly do private event hire, we can also cater for corporate events, community events, fundraisers, shows etc.

Do you operate on weekdays?
At this stage as we both work during the week, our standard operating days are Saturday and Sunday, however we can facilitate midweek events if you give us plenty of notice!
